Jonah Kerr

Jonah is a senior at Edgewood High School and will graduate with honors in the class of 2022. I spent a little bit of time with Jonah the week before we did his two photo shoots, and I was happy to see him be comfortable enough with me to be himself for his senior pictures. We ran into some interesting things while doing the shoot at Switchyard, and I’m going to laugh every time I think about it from now on. I’ve come to know that he is not only smart and talented, but he is kind and funny. He’s got everything going for him and it’s going to be neat watching all that he accomplishes over the next few years.

Outside of school, he enjoys going to concerts, hanging out with his friends, playing Dungeons & Dragons, painting miniature figures and he has taken up skateboarding. Growing up, Jonah was active in little league basketball, baseball, Tae Kwon Do and 4-H.

In Junior High he was a two year member of Mini Warehouse. In High School he found his passion performing on stage and has been a four year member of Theatre, a four year member of Music Warehouse and a one year member of Marching Mustangs as vocalist.

Jonah has been accepted to Iowa State, Michigan State, Purdue University, Middle Tennessee State University and Indiana University - Bloomington. He will be attending Indiana University this fall where he plans to major in vocal performance and minor in music education. His mom is also a graduate this year and has earned her Bachelors degree, so we thought it would only be fitting to get a picture of the two of them.

There is no doubt that Jonah will excel in all that he does in the future. He has everything he needs to reach his goals and accomplish his dreams, and he has a very loving and supportive family to support him on along the way.
