Michae'la Bruns

I have learned so much about Michae’la this past week. I am greatful to have her mom as one of my dear friends, where our friendship began at Stinesville. It came as no surprise to me how driven and accomplished Michae’la is. She is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Behind all of that, is a person who is so dedicated and driven. She knows what she wants, puts in the hard work, and she makes it happen. I absolutely love her heart, talent and determination. She is quiet, soft spoken and gives off a warm feeling. She is just simply easy to be around. She wanted to have a waterfall scenery for part of her senior pictures, and McCormicks Creek State Park falls in the canyon is one of the most beautiful places to go for that. The boulders made it nice and easy to get up close! The Canyon Inn still had some pretty flowers, (which are kept beautifully maintained) that we were able to incorporate as well. Michae’la is naturally photogenic and just has that sweetness about her.

Michae’la is a senior at Edgewood High School and will graduate with honors in 2020. She is the Executive Manager of the National Honors Society, a member of the Environmental club, German Club, and German Honor Society. She is a four year member of the drum line with the Marching Mustangs and has also earned her key position as one of the drum majors. Michae’la participated in the ISSMA Class C State Champion Marching Band and Winter Percussion. She also managed a rigorous class schedule and earned six hours of college credit this year. She participated in a student exchange program in Germany. She works hard and perseveres through countless hours of band, homework and working a part time job. Michae’la plans to attend college to study media and fashion with hopes to study abroad during college. You have a wonderful family support system around you Michae’la, and I wish you the very best this year and in your future endeavors. You will do wonderful things! Thank you for bringing me along.
