Cameron Curtis

This has been one of my favorite sessions to date. Cameron is a senior this year at Edgewood High School. He isn’t just any senior to me though, he and his family are also our neighbors, and friends. What an honor it has been to do this with them. Cameron wanted to incorporate a little bit of lake and fishing into this shoot because fishing is something he really enjoys to do outside of all the other things that keep him busy. He completely nailed this shoot. He is so photogenic and he made this super easy and fun.

His two favorite sports that he competes in are basketball and track. He has been heavy into basketball since about the second grade and I know it must feel really sentimental to him that this is his last year to play high school basketball. In track he enjoys the 100, 200 and 4x1 relay. He has really excelled in track this past year and it’s going to be really neat to watch him on the track as a senior.

He not only balances his academics and athletics quite well, he’s also maintained his position at Rolling Meadows golf course as part of the maintenance crew. Keeping those carts clean and keeping things tidy around the course are a few things that keep his day busy. Aside from all of that, he has always had a hobby for video games with his friends. I’d say the things that mean the most to him are his friends and family. He really is such a great kid and I have loved getting to know him better this past year. We will be doing another photo shoot to incorporate his athletics, friends and family and I really do wish the very best for this sweet kid!
